The Batani’s farm covers a land of 16 hectares located in a rural village e few kilometers away from the coast.
The “Fattoria Batani” was built 20 years ago by Antonio Batani who wanted to supply his hotel restaurants with seasonal fruits and vegetables naturally grown and absolutely genuine. He started then the production of a large variety of vegetables and fruits, based on the principles of natural and extensive farming.
Cherries, strawberries, peaches, apricots, walnuts, figs, potatoes, aubergines, courgettes and green beans, just to mention a few, are part of a great variety of juicy fruits and savory vegetables grown with passion and love for the land.
And that’s not all: hens are bred free and grant a daily supply of eggs used by the chefs to prepare fresh hand-made pasta and delicious desserts. Today, the farm employs 20 people all year long.
The farm includes a big farmhouse that the Batanis use for family gatherings or outdoor parties with the staff, on special occasions, in a typically bucolic atmosphere. Another way to discover nature and enjoy its many virtues.
