MONASTERY AND HERMITAGE OF CAMALDOLI (about 28 km)

Is a place of culture and spirituality, located in the heart of the National Park of the Casentino Forests.

In the Moving Hermitage surrounded by firs and walls, there are 20 cells, where  hermits live in solitude.

HERMITAGE OF S.ALBERICO (about 30 km)

Small hermitage hidden in a gully of the Fumaiolo mount, where St.Alberico lived in solitude making miracles mainly healing stomac problems and hernias.

CATHEDRAL OF S. VICINIO IN SARSINA (about 20 Km)

The centuries-old cathedral of Sarsina fonded in 1008 is famous for the remains of Saint Vicinio, and his miracles: pilgrims come here to get the blessing with the “St.Vicinio’s chain, a metal collar that, according to tradition, belonged to the Saint; there is also the important Archaeological Museum and most significant collection dates back to the Roman period.
